These are the respective colors of the Myanmar flag and their corresponding meanings. From this flag, we can see the history of Myanmar and what it respects.

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar gained independence from Great Britain in 1948, and the country's name was the Union of Burma until 1989.However, after independence, the military strengthened and the country was placed under a military regime, but the military regime was abolished when the then prime minister died in 2007 and a new prime minister was appointed. 

In 2015, the first elections were held after the return of the civilian government. The current Myanmar flag was changed on October 21, 2010.
